What was shaking at Tallinn Service School ? Yes, thats right – only the best of the best cocktails made by twenty four contestants.
Competitors from all over Estonia where judged by how they handle stress, how innovative they are, how does the beverage taste as well as how good of a cocktail maker you are. Also they had to stick to the rules by not overstepping 65 calorie line. As they say “charm is in simplicity” so contestants knew that clean countryside is the key. Important that the products are simple and easily available from the store. Extra points for clean and healthy drinks.
The variety of alcohol free drinks was amazing. The different colors, the tastes, the glasses and of course the decorations.
So what it takes? It takes courage to stand in front of people. It takes focus on your goal. It takes time and dedication for training. It takes ability to ignore everything what could disturb your concentration. That’s all it takes, no big deal just a million things.
The winner of Estonian alcohol free cocktail championship is Laur Ihermann from NOA restaurant. The champion will travel to Czech Respublic, Prague to represent Estonia in alcohol free cocktail world championship competition.
